It has been suggested that we name our roundabouts.  Forgive me if I am wrong, but I thought we already have?  There's the 'Burger Van' roundabout, the 'ASDA' roundabout, the 'Top' roundabout (aka 'Glendale roundabout) and the 'other' one.  What's wrong with those names, perfectly easy to navigate - unless you happen to live outwith this glorious suburb! Any suggestions? ....oh yeah, we need a new name for the 'posh Cala hooses' roundabout too ;)

 

However, while we wait for the names to flood in....have you noticed how dark it's getting? Yup, GMT is back with it's usual barrel of symptoms....is anyone else REALLY REALLY TIRED all the time?  Only a few days into it and I have Seasonal Affective Disorder already...then there's the 'getting dark while still in the office' experience and the usual stuff like driving to work in the dark and driving home in the dark.  On the bright side, it reminds me of when I had a paper round and used to cycle round the houses at 7am before school - until I get to work and realise I have a mortgage to pay!

 

But no matter how dark it is outside, we always have our 24 hour ASDA to keep us bright and cheery...I might just go there after work tomorrow and wander around until it should be dark! If I am canny about it and stay there long enough, the Easter Eggs will be out on the shelves and it will feel just like spring! 

 

So as we wander the streets in the dark (at 4pm), spare a thought for the milkman, the paper boy, the ASDA night shift worker and the road gritter chappy wandering the streets in the dark most of the year round to keep us daytime folk happy, healthy, safe and secure....now it's 5:17pm...well past my bedtime....g'night all!
