Did anyone else notice that the Olympic medals had a wee 'Made in China' stamp on the back?  Not that that takes away from the wonderful acheivements of our Golden, Silver and Bronzed heroes!!

 

Just you wait and see...... all the kids in the estates will be out pole vaulting, fosbury flopping and shot putting like on telly....well they always get the tennis rackets out when Wimbledon is on, so I for one can see it happening.

 

Surely all those fit and healthy Olympians must have made an impression on you....

It's enough to make you want to pull on your sweatbands and get out the old Hi Tec Silver Shadows ( I had the S. Shadows II) and relive your youth running round the school pitch.....but now that I am all grown up and the memories of growing pains and stitches are flooding back....I can truthfully say that HDTV makes it real enough for me!
