Is it me? Really, is it?  I scrape the ice off my car windows manually and by the time I am done, the car has heated up; the front windscreen (left till last) is half defrosted and I am still in possession of my £21K vehicle.  Call me smug...but better than the MUG who defrosts his/her car by turning on the ignition and leaving it running whilst watching from the living room window (toasty). 

I have just had a chat with the Community Police Sergeant who told me that a car was taken from Cortmalaw (in the Stewart Milne Estate) by an opportunistic thief just waiting for lazy 'scrapers' to wake up...just last week....scary and far far to close to home!  As for the insurance, keys in the ignition waved goodbye to any claims.

Please don't give these menaces an early Christmas present, take care of your car!
