.....view of the Campsies from the M80!  What a lovely day today and looking beyond the Campsies towards the 'Arrochar Alps' just reminded me
how lucky I was not to crash into a car slowing down for our junction!!!!

Pity sat-nav systems didn't say ..." In 100 yards, look right for a nice view".  More people might notice it... but far be it for me to mock the
strangely comforting voice of my sat nav lady.  I was driving somewhere new, quite foreign and scary today....Edinburgh City Centre....and found
myself in a maze of roads that seemed to be deep down under Princes Street!  (Like most Weegies, I stroll Princes Street from Waverley,
go along Rose Street for lunch then back to Waverley after marvelling at the price of stuff in Jenners window) so driving in such hostile,
twisty, cobbly, busy, one way, bus laden ...."The destination is on your left" she said....rightly so and we have remained friends
ever since!!

The Community Council are still trying to reduce traffic along the road past the school, it doesn't help when printed road maps, internet route
planners and some sat nav systems still insist that the bypass road stops mysteriously after the Briarcroft/Brookfield/Campsie Meadows
roundabout only to rematerialise just before the roundabout leading onto the Auchinairn/Lenzie Road.  Try it and see!!

Then email with the result and help the Community Council try out the new address!!!!!!!
