What do we do?

Robroyston Community Council exists to represent and promote the interests of the people who live in the Council's area.  This covers the Glendale, Briarcroft, Brookfield, Wallacewell Park, Orchard Park estates in the north east corner of the City of Glasgow plus the new developments at Campsie Meadows and Wallacefield.

A boundary map of the area is available by clicking on the compass.

As a statutory body the Community Council sees all planning applications relating to the area and can, if necessary, lodge objections.  We can also make representations on behalf of the Community, not only to Glasgow City Council but also to other public bodies such as the Police and the Health Board and to private businesses such as gas and electricity companies.

The Community Council had its inaugural meeting in September 2005 and at this time has 13 elected members and 1 delegate member.  Members of the Community Council are guided by a constitutional document which is available for perusal at any of the council meetings.
